Gear Welding Electrode KOVET-680 Size 4.0 mm (1 kg)
A rutile-type titanium-calcium coated Cr29Ni9 stainless steel welding electrode. Can be used with both AC and DC welding currents. Features easy arc ignition and stable arcing, easy all-position welding, easy slag removal, and flat, smooth weld beads. Due to the high ferrite content in its microstructure, it provides excellent high-temperature resistance, good corrosion resistance, and crack resistance. With high chromium and nickel content, it can be used for welding identical stainless steels, joining dissimilar metals, all types of mild steel, metals of unknown composition, or steel with poor weldability, and can be used for buttering/underlay before hardfacing.
